I had a lovely couple of mornings with Parker Financial updating their staff portraits and creating some images of their offices for their website. This is the second time I have photographed them. Last time I photographed everyone in the same location this time we decided to move around the office to photograph each staff member in their work space. The portraits became more relaxed and personal.

This gorgeous young man I am proud to say is my youngest brother. I can say he is my favourite youngest brother as he is the youngest. I do have another younger brother but he is not the youngest. I could also say he is my favourite tallest brother as he is that too. I have 3 wonderful brothers and I think they are all gorgeous and are all my favourites in their own way.

Ray is the manager of Squash ACT and is the most passionate squashy I know. I did these photos for him a little while ago for his work. I am really proud of him he was part of a very small team that organised the a very successful Australian Open Squash championships here in Canberra. It was the first time they have had this competitions in this way and it attracted most of the worlds top ranking players. Well don little bro. I loves ya xoxo

Over the years I photographed a range of jobs for this very talented graphic design firm. Check them out PaperMonkey The briefs are generally pretty open and free form and they always seem to make my images look great in their layouts. Most of the jobs have been to create a series of images that tell a story about an organisation to be used in publicity material like brochures and websites. Instead of an individual or family this is creating a portrait of an organisation or business with a range of images from documentary, architecture, product, details, landscapes and or course portraits. This is the second time I have photographed this school. They are a lovely, warm caring and enthusiastic client. I spent about a half a day trying to be a fly on the wall and document the happenings in the classroom and playground.

A lot has happened in my life in the past couple of months but I am back now and will be posting on a regular basis from now on so please come back often or become a friend on my facebook page to be kept up to date with what I am doing.

Here are some images form a campaign I did earlier this year for the Australian National University School of Music for their premier concert series. We had a fun day creating these images in their concert hall.

In August and September this year I did the stills photography for a DVD Project for the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. It was an amazing project where we traveled to every state of Australia to document many aspects of Australian’s Vocational Education and Training System. We visited all sorts of training facilities and workplaces from a cooking school, fish farm, dental hospital, automotive training centre, music and drama, wildlife conservation, marine rescue, construction, hair and beauty, fine furniture making, and a solar farm. I was employed to create a range of portraits of students and trainees for the department’s photo library. I had never worked with a film crew before and it was fascinating to see the creative process of filming moving images. I got nick-named “Snapper” because of the snap, snap, snap of my camera. There was a lot of jovial rivalry throughout the crew and after spending such an intense time traveling together we are all still friends. Thank you Sonia, Emma, Geoff, and Ted, it was a blast. Here are a few of the many hundreds of images I created.
